Already in January 2024, the first rumors emerged regarding the launch of two Nike sneakers in conjunction with the Paris Olympics. The models in question are two: the SB Dunk Low Onlympics Safari and the Jordan 4 Paris Olympics Wet Cement . Both sneakers will be released on July 27, 2024 , right at the start of the Olympic Games, almost as if to kick off the celebrations.
The Jordan 4 Retro SE Paris Olympics Wet Cement reimagines the classic silhouette with a neutral, monochromatic design in honor of the 2024 Summer Olympics . Various shades of grey are applied to the nubuck upper , which features suede overlays on the forefoot and a raised grid pattern on the lateral panel. The alternating materials and shades of grey are meant to recall the distinctive cobblestone streets of the city of Paris .
The SB Dunk Low Olympics Safari celebrates skateboarding at the 2024 Summer Games in Paris. The low-top sports a grey suede upper with Nike’s iconic Safari print covering tonal overlays on the forefoot and heel. Contrasting black accents are found on the leather Swoosh, collar and rear tongue, with Nike branding embroidered in orange.
